Bernhard comprehensively advises both German and international clients in the areas of corporate law and M&A. His practice focuses on structured sales processes and acquisitions, LBO, LBI and joint ventures.

His clients include international companies, financial investors, private equity funds as well as medium-sized and family-owned companies. Bernhard’s professional career is characterised by advising on a large number of transactions in Germany with international elements and this continues to constitute the core of his practice in selected industries. Furthermore, he has long-standing experience in the field of restructuring and reorganization of companies as well as the representation of companies and parties in crisis situations and insolvency proceedings.

Taylor Wessing advises GARBE on sale of eight logistics centers to Union Investment

International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Hamburg partner Anja Fenge and Hamburg partner Bernhard Kloft, provided comprehensive legal advice to GARBE Industrial Real Estate on the sale of eight logistics centers to Union Investment. The portfolio consists of six development projects and two existing buildings with a total area of 218,144 square meters. The purchases are being made for two new pan-European logistics special funds launched by Union Investment together with GARBE Industrial Real Estate.
