Dr. Jan Riebeling

Jan is a chamber qualified expert lawyer for commercial and corporate law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht) and a specialist in the areas of M&A and private equity.

He advises strategic and financial investors as well as family-managed companies from Germany and abroad on corporate transactions, reorganisation measures and corporate structuring. Jan regularly represents real estate companies in their corporate real estate matters, including advising on share deals, international joint ventures and holding structures. He further has industry expertise in life sciences transactions.

Jan is a member of the local management board of Taylor Wessing Hamburg.

Advising Invesco Real Estate on major international partnership with Westmont

We have advised Invesco Real Estate (Invesco), the global real estate investment manager, on its new strategic long-term partnership with Westmont, one of the largest private hotel property owners and operators with approximately 400 hotels in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Taylor Wessing advises GARBE on sale of eight logistics centers to Union Investment

International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Hamburg partner Anja Fenge and Hamburg partner Bernhard Kloft, provided comprehensive legal advice to GARBE Industrial Real Estate on the sale of eight logistics centers to Union Investment. The portfolio consists of six development projects and two existing buildings with a total area of 218,144 square meters. The purchases are being made for two new pan-European logistics special funds launched by Union Investment together with GARBE Industrial Real Estate.
