Advising Invesco Real Estate on major international partnership with Westmont

We have advised Invesco Real Estate (Invesco), the global real estate investment manager, on its new strategic long-term partnership with Westmont, one of the largest private hotel property owners and operators with approximately 400 hotels in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Compagnie de Saint Gobain's acquisition of Kaimann

Saint-Gobain on the acquisition of all the shares of Kaimann GmbH, Hövelhof, one of the leading European manufacturers of elastomeric insulating materials. With this acquisition, the Saint-Gobain Group strengthened its position as market leader and complemented its portfolio of materials and technologies. Acquisition of 56,000 square meters of land in Munich for project development

Hammer AG on the acquisition of around 56,000 square meters of land in Munich for future-oriented project development. A special-purpose company of the Hammer family has acquired the property at Frankfurter Ring 227 from automotive supplier Sona. The project is financed by Bayern LB. The property will be used for a few more years by the former owner in order to accommodate production and administration. Afterwards, Hammer Group will redevelop and upgrade it in coordination with the state capital Munich. New buildings are planned for various uses, adapted to the increasing demand.

Purchase of an under construction office complex near Berlin

Savills Investment Management (Savills IM) on the purchase of the "NUBIS" office complex in the Adlershof Science and Technology Park in Berlin, some of which is still under construction. The international real estate investment firm Savills IM has acquired the properties for its Savills IM European Commercial Fund (ECF). The transaction is part of an asset deal with Project Immobilien Gewerbe AG. The ensemble consists of three independent multi-tenant buildings with modern and flexible office space. A total of around 17,200 square metres of lettable space are spread across five to six floors. Each house has its own underground car park with a total of 86 parking spaces. The first building has already been completed and occupied by the tenants. The other two properties will be transferred to the Fund's portfolio when it is successively completed in the first half of 2019. In total, long-term leases have already been signed for more than 90 percent of the space. The main tenants are VBU Verkehrsbau Union Berlin GmbH (Eurovia) and TECHEM Energy Services GmbH.
