Seth Green had planned an NFT Show called “White Horse Tavern” featuring Bored Ape No. 8398 as its main character, whom he had lovingly nicknamed “Fred”. However, due to a phishing scam, Green lost Fred, who has meanwhile been purchased by another NFT collector. Nyx Cosmetics enters metaverse through diversity hub in The Sandbox

L’Oréal’s Nyx joins the Metaverse as one of the first cosmetic brands to take the plunge. The brand will be integrated in a diversity, equity and inclusivity space placed in The Sandbox game. The proceeds will be donated to charity. Read more

Brazilian university USP will conduct academic research in the metaverse

The university of Sao Paulo has partnered with the University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) and others to explore important research questions around psychology, human behavior and augmented reality inside the metaverse. As part of the project, the university has obtained a rare piece of land in the United States of Mars metaverse. Read more
