Dr. Christian Tenkhoff

Christian has more than ten years of experience in high-stakes and international brand matters. His practice covers all aspects of trade mark law, including brand clearance, prosecution and enforcement.

He manages the trade mark portfolios for some of the world’s leading brands in technology, media, life sciences, luxury and retail. He frequently handles complex cross-border disputes – especially those involving unconventional marks and trade dress protection. His most recent cases include C-832/21 VOGUE, T-175/22 BREZTRI and T-591/22 Polaroid.

Christian is co-author of the Munich Handbook for Industrial Property Rights and serves on the Non-Traditional Marks Committee of INTA. He is regularly recommended by leading legal directories including JUVE, Legal500 and Managing IP. He has been praised as “very well versed” and “service- and solution-oriented”.

Christian heads the Beijing Tailun IP Agency in China.
