Carolin Becker is a member of the Patents, Technology & Life Sciences practice area. She advises and represents national and international companies in patent litigation before the German courts and acts as a Representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
A key focus of her practice is patent infringement and nullity litigation in the technology sectors telecommunications, electronics and mechanical engineering. She has experience in disputes involving standard-essential patents and advises on FRAND-related issues in this context.
Carolin Becker is also involved in the drafting and negotiation of licence and cooperation agreements. Her practice combines strong expertise in patent law with a deep understanding of technical and commercial matters. She was recognised as a "Rising Star" by IP Stars (Managing IP).
