Christoph is Head of China Group and mainly assigned to the firm’s general corporate practice advising multinational as well as medium-sized corporations on their business operations and investments in mainland China. His special focus in this regard is on foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring as well as on the PRC tax regime.
Christoph advises clients from various industries with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical institutions, automotive and renewables.
Prior to joining Taylor Wessing in 2006, where he became a partner in 2008, Christoph had worked as a tax lawyer in the tax and legal department of the Shanghai office of one of the major international auditing and accounting firms.
Christoph has published various articles on China-related legal topics in international law journals. He was heading as chairman for several years the Legal Working Group as well as the Trade and Distribution Working Group of the European Chamber of Commerce in China.
