Claudia Vander Velde is a trainee patent attorney in the Intellectual Property practice group and specialises in patent litigation.
Claudia has a multidisciplinary background combining law and science with a particular focus on the life sciences. She specialises in intellectual property law, with a strong emphasis on patent law across a range of technical fields, including but not limited to the life sciences. She also advises on copyright, trademark, and design rights.
She has prior experience at the European Commission, where she worked on the REACH chemicals regulation, as well as experience on setting up clinical trials at a CRO, gaining insight into specific challenges of the pharmaceutical industry.
Fluent in French, Dutch, English, and Spanish, Claudia supports clients in an international and multilingual context.
