Raimund Cancola

Raimund is a member of our Global Board, CEE Managing Partner and a leading member of the Corporate/M&A team in CEE. Besides being admitted in Austria, he is also qualified to practice law in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. He is also a dedicated member of our China, Middle East and US groups.

Raimund is a corporate lawyer well known for his experience in cross border M&A and private equity transactions. From his decades of experience working on corporate transactions across numerous industries, Raimund can offer authoritative insights and a calm, competent presence on any deal.

Outside of law, Raimund has made a name for himself as a capable and popular university lecturer at the Institute for Corporate and Tax Law at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. Having led the course Business Succession and M&A as part of the bachelor's degree studies for several years, he is now also commissioned to hold this course as part of the master's degree studies.
