Tanisha is an associate in the IP, Regulatory and Digital team at our Dubai office with over 5 years of experience advising on intellectual property, brand protection, technology, media, regulatory and commercial issues across the MENA region and South-East Asia.
Tanisha specialises in various aspects of intellectual property including brand protection, IP enforcement, trademark prosecution, domain name disputes, IP portfolio management, agreements, IP due diligence, copyrights, as well as IP licensing and assignment. She handles end-to-end IP prosecution—from brand clearance and strategy to successful registration—and manages sizable IP portfolios. Additionally, she offers advice on complex legal and contentious issues related to trademarks, copyright, media, regulatory, anti-counterfeiting, technology, AI, transactions, contracts, and brand enforcement.
Tanisha has advised a wide range of clients, including retail multi-national companies, media and entertainment groups, e-commerce companies, aviation companies, FMCG companies, technology companies, beauty brands, social media platforms, luxury fashion and automotive brands, F&B operators. She has supported these clients on brand clearance, IP enforcement, domain name disputes, IP due diligence, regulatory and compliance advisory, drafting and reviewing various types of agreements such as IP, software development, commercial, licensing, franchising, confidential information, among others.
Tanisha's skill set encompasses a strong background in IP paired with exceptional research and drafting skills and an analytical acumen paired with meticulous attention to detail—traits that underpin her commercial awareness and client-focused approach facilitating effective communication across her professional practice.
