Gabriel Estevez is Head of our International Private Wealth Group and a partner in the Banking & Finance team in London.

Gabriel is a specialist finance lawyer who has developed a uniquely generalist practice that encompasses private wealth, real estate and venture debt. His extensive expertise allows him to adeptly assist ultra high net worth clients, family offices, start-ups, private equity firms, global investment funds and alternative lenders with complex cross-border matters.

Accor on investment into AGO Hotels

We have advised Accor on their investment into the innovative AGO Hotels platform, including branding arrangements. AGO has secured an initial nine hotels from the Travelodge CVA which will be branded as Ibis budget hotels with the platform open for further hotels to join into 2021. As well as participating in this innovative vehicle alongside AGO management and the landlords, Accor has also committed seed funding to assist with the platform launch and to provide working capital.

McLaren Property on GBP175 million deal

McLaren Property on a GBP175 million forward funding with Brookfield's Student Roost. The funding will be used by McLaren to develop three new student accommdation schemes delivering a total of 1,387 beds to two prime, regional cities; Warwick and Brighton. The schemes will be delivered for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years, with two schemes in Warwick and one in Brighton.

McLaren Property on the multi-billion pound delivery of development projects since their inception in 2010

McLaren Property on their acquisitions and redevelopments since their inception in 2010. Whilst McLaren are active across multiple sectors, the bulk of the projects undertaken have been in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and residential sectors. Taylor Wessing has advised on redevelopment projects undertaken both independently and in joint venture partnerships with sector specialists, with a current pipeline of development assets totalling GBP1.5bn.
