Welcoming our latest corporate hires in Ireland

Corporate finance and M&A specialists Paddy Quinlan and Dannie Hanna are the latest additions to the firm's Dublin office, and its international corporate group.

Leading corporate finance lawyers Paddy Quinlan and Dannie Hanna have joined the firm's Dublin office. The firm continues to strengthen its position as the firm of choice for international investors and innovators in the technology and life sciences sectors, as its offering for clients in Ireland expands with these latest hires.

A specialist corporate finance and M&A lawyer with over 20 years' experience, Paddy joins the firm this month as a partner and is recognised globally by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 EMEA. Paddy is a highly skilled corporate lawyer advising companies and investors in public and private equity and debt fundraisings, initial public offerings, and public and private mergers and acquisitions. Notably, his recent experience includes a significant number of venture capital and private equity transactions.

Dannie joins as a senior counsel from Flutter Entertainment plc, the global betting and gaming company. He brings extensive M&A expertise, having worked on high-value, cross-border acquisitions in-house as part of Flutter's global growth strategy. Dannie was previously a senior associate in the M&A teams at both Arthur Cox, Dublin and at Allens in Sydney, where he gained extensive international corporate experience acting on some of the most high-profile and significant transactional work undertaken in both markets in recent times.

The extensive experience of Paddy and Dannie in advising international organisations in various sectors, particularly technology and life sciences & healthcare, supports the firm's strategic objectives to represent clients across its global network, facilitating continued international expansion, fundraising and M&A opportunities. Following the appointments of three new associates earlier this year, the specialist knowledge and opportunities the firm can deliver for its clients with interests in Ireland continues to grow.

Partner and Head of Taylor Wessing's Dublin office, Adam Griffiths said: "We are delighted to welcome Paddy and Dannie to the team. Their expertise in complex cross-border corporate transactions will be of immense value to our clients, and our international team that continue to advise leading growth companies and established corporates on high-profile transactions. We have distinct expertise and connections in significant hubs for technology and life sciences & healthcare, and these senior appointments further underpin our strategy."

Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn said: "Our growth in Ireland is focused on opportunities for clients working in the technology and life-science sectors. We're seeing investment in these areas continue, and we are building a focused team. Paddy and Dannie's reputations are of the highest order, having acted on some of the largest and most significant deals in the market. We're pleased to welcome them both to the firm."
