It can result in more diversity and a stronger emphasis on the qualities of applicants for a vacant position. Anonymous job applications combat both negative and positive discrimination and ensures the focus lies on skills and qualifications. As of August 2020 applications are anonymous at Taylor Wessing in Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels.
Having the core values Responsible, Respect and Integrity, among others, the introduction of anonymous job applications is a logical step for Taylor Wessing. We are committed to respect, making a valuable contribution to society and we embrace diversity. By introducing anonymous job applications we therefore take our responsibility and back our words with actions. While by no means the first organisation to introduce this policy, we do believe that huge leaps can still be made in this area. We therefore hope that other organisations will follow our example.”

Anoniem solliciteren bij Taylor Wessing
Het is bij veel organisaties al jaren een terugkerend onderwerp van gesprek: anoniem solliciteren. Het kan leiden tot een meer divers personeelsbestand en het zorgt voor meer zicht op de kwaliteiten van kandidaten die solliciteren op een openstaande functie. Anoniem solliciteren gaat zowel negatieve als positieve discriminatie tegen en dit zorgt voor een focus op competenties en prestaties. Bij Taylor Wessing in Amsterdam, Eindhoven en Brussel wordt anoniem solliciteren per augustus 2020 een feit.
Met onder andere als core values Responsible, Respect en Integrity is anoniem solliciteren een logische stap voor Taylor Wessing. We staan voor respect, het leveren van een waardevolle bijdrage aan de maatschappij en we omarmen diversiteit. Met de invoering van anoniem solliciteren nemen we dan ook verantwoordelijkheid en voegen we daad bij het woord. We zijn zeker niet de eerste organisatie die dit beleid heeft ingevoerd, maar we zien dat er op dit gebied nog grote stappen gemaakt kunnen worden.
