Session #10: Supply chain 101: rules, risks and mitigations

Online Online
24 June 2025

Supply chain complexity and risks have increased greatly due to geopolitical, legal and regulatory changes across multiple areas. These include forced labour, environment and sustainability, data protection and cybersecurity, bribery and fraud and international trade. This presents potentially major issues for all types of businesses and their directors, resulting in potential civil and criminal liability as well as possibly catastrophic reputational damage.

This one-hour webinar will help you identify the issues relevant to your business and how best to manage them, including through supply chain due diligence, contractual protections and dispute and reputational management. We will also consider some of the emerging trends including the implications of use of AI and block chain technologies within your supply chain.

This session will be hosted by Chris Jeffery and Giles Crown. Our guest speaker, Jamas Hodivala KC, from Matrix Chambers, is a leading expert in business and regulatory crime involving an international element including fraud, bribery, money laundering and environmental crime.
