Online intermediaries and illegal content under the Digital Services Act

Johanna is a member of our Practice Area Technology, Media & Telecoms. She mainly advises internet intermediaries such as search engine providers, access, hosting and content providers on media, copyright and data protection law, with a focus on liability issues for (third-party) content on the internet and media regulatory requirements. Johanna is a highly experienced litigator in this area and represents her clients before German courts of general and administrative jurisdiction as well as before the ECJ and ECtHR.
Johanna is a specialist lawyer in copyright and media law. She received her doctorate on a copyright topic. Johanna regularly publishes and lectures on media, data protection and press law topics.
Johanna is a member of the board of the German Association of Law and Informatics and co-chairs the expert committee ‘Social Media and Intermediaries on the Internet’.
