Taylor Wessing advises denkstatt on integration with EY
Taylor Wessing has supported the shareholders of the international denkstatt Group in its integration with EY. Already in the past, denkstatt was a leading player in sustainability and environmental consulting. Operating under the brand EY denkstatt in Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia, the newly formed company will be a leading international management consultancy with three decades of experience in the fields of environment, sustainability, energy, health, safety and mobility.
Starting with the term sheet and continuing all the way to the closing, denkstatt received comprehensive advice from a team led by Taylor Wessing Vienna partners Peter Solt (Environmental) and Claudia Steegmüller (Corporate). They were supported not only by Senior Associate Silvia Schenner and Associate Cezary Dominik Kinski, but also by a team led by Competition Partner Martin Eckel. Taylor Wessing Budapest (team lead Torsten Braner) and Taylor Wessing Bratislava (team lead Juraj Frindrich) were also involved in the deal.
EY was supported by a team led by EY Law Partner Mario Gall and lawyer Isabella Ladstätter. The closing took place in April 2024.
