We have advised AI waste analytics pioneer Greyparrot on its strategic partnership with Bollegraaf, the world's largest builder of recycling plants, to make thousands of recycling plants more efficient in response to the growing waste crisis.
The companies will use advanced AI technology to accelerate the digitisation of the waste sector and collaborate on the development of new “smart” plants and innovative products.
Greyparrot's mission is to use AI to significantly improve recycling efficiency and decrease the environmental impact of waste. It uses computer vision technology to analyse and sort waste into the right categories at waste facilities. It also provides waste analytics that can be used by waste managers, producers and regulators. We previously advised the company on its £8.9m Series A funding round led by Regeneration VC.
