Taylor Wessing advises Topp Holdings on the sale of its Belgian Runtime Group to Umani Group

International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Munich partner Dr Philip Cavaillès, has advised Topp Holdings GmbH and other shareholders on the sale of its Belgian Runtime group of companies including Runtime NV, Runtime Services NV and Runtime Projects BV to Belgian Umani Group. Runtime Group Belgium is active in the field of temporary employment.

Topp Holdings GmbH is a family-run, independent holding company focused on the service sector with more than 6,000 employees in seven countries. It manages, networks and strategically shapes the business activities of the independently operating subsidiaries.

Runtime Group has been a successful personnel service provider in the European market for more than 25 years. In Germany, the company is one of the top 20 temporary employment agencies and has affiliated companies in four other European countries. As a generalist, it works primarily for medium-sized and small companies in the industry, craft, engineering and IT as well as office sectors. Its particular expertise lies in the supply of skilled workers. 

Runtime Group Belgium, founded in 1999 with headquarters in Heist-op-den-Berg has been active in the segment of Temporary Employment, Project Sourcing and Service Vouchers for more than 20 years. With six branches in Booischot/ Heist-op-den-Berg, Aarschot, Bouw, Antwerp, Ham and Turnhout, Runtimes Services N.V. is the largest affiliated company of the German Runtime Group. It is one of the most important players on the Belgian market in the field of temporary staffing and placement and is also successful in headhunting.

The buyer, Umani Group, is a Belgian holding company which includes the personnel service provider Flexer, the HR agency Umani, the household agency Blink and the cleaning company Poetspaleis.
