Trade Republic has closed its USD 900 million Series C financing round led by Sequoia Capital with participation from TCV, Thrive Capital and the existing investors Accel, Founders Fund, Creandum and Project A. A venture capital team of Taylor Wessing co-led by Frankfurt partner Hassan Sohbi and salary partner David Becker has advised Accel, Founders Fund, Creandum and Project A.
Trade Republic Bank GmbH, founded by Marco Cancellieri, Christian Hecker and Thomas Pischke in 2015, is a FinTech startup from Berlin.
