Taylor Wessing advises Advance on the acquisition of The Esports Observer

Advance Publications, Inc., a US-based media company, has acquired The Esports Observer (TEO). The international law firm Taylor Wessing has been advising Advance, under the leadership of the Berlin partner Norman Röchert, in all legal aspects of the transaction.

Advance has become the sole shareholder of TEO after it had acquired a minority interest in TEO in 2017. Advance Publications, Inc., a diversified family-owned group, operates and invests in a broad range of media, communications and technology businesses globally, amongst them Sports Business Journal and Leaders.

TEO is the leading provider of esports business news, insights and events and was founded in 2015 by BITKRAFT Esports Ventures network.
